The chronicle of a dad with two sons, 14 and 10, in West LA. Both guys are baseball players. I'm a coach on my younger guy's team. Coaching is one of the great pleasures of manhood. The male brain may be limited in many emotional functions, but coaching one thing we do well. It's in our genes: training young hunters in sphere-throwing.
